Recently my friend and I were discussing how quickly the school year is flying by. We are now in our sixth week of school. At least i felt it was flying by. He begged to differ.
Which brings me to a question of time according to the person living in it.Have you ever had a day just pass so quickly you were surprised? It's kinda ike the old saying "my time flies when you're having fun". Then on the other spectrum of this experience, have you ever had a day that would not end? Mabey it was because it was just a bad day, or a day with nothing at all to do with your time.
well considering that each one of us is living our own lives seperatly what happeneds when one person has a day just fly by and another person trudge through a day? like lets say on an extreme example one person is in a solitary confinement or somthing and another person is at a place of enjoyment to that person. they both share the same amount of time in a day. but one goes by faster than the other.
If you could put the pace of the day accoring to each person side by side, what does that say? the graphs certainly wouldnt look the same. but yet its still the same amount of time.
I dont know if anyone followed my line of thought but its somthing I've questioned for somtime now.

Crap to me, Mabey Rap to you
After going over a blog today in class I noticed this is like an anonomus way to share somthing you're passionate about. And because i am not Mr. Writer I almost think sharing somthing im passionate about is one of the only way to write somthing worth reading be it right or wrong.
Im sure not many people will agree with me, especially not many people in my generation. It's fine if you dont because thats your right but I dont think much could change my mind. So rather than Hiding my topic much longer I'll put it simply. I Hate Rap music.
I despise it. I feel it's just dumb. Rap takes no real talent other than perfecting a skill you learned at the age of 2 and becoming a master of ryhming. Woo Hoo! big deal.... They most likely didnt learn to play an instrument, or at least dont show it. Rappers find a beat most likley made by computers and then loop it. Now how long did that take? probably not long considering some are actualy reusing beats from classic rock songs like "crazy train" "inna gadda da vida" "cold as ice" and others. Then tarnishing a once good song with terrible lyrics. What are the lyrics about? though its steryotypical as some of my opinions are, one cannot deny the fact that sellin drugs and pimpin hoes is a reoccuring theme or trend in the musical genre. Not to mention the fact that it actually rapes the english language and dumbs it down.
Before I slander another genre let me back up what I'm comparing it to. I am a black sheep in todays generation. I love metal and classic rock. Both of which take years of practice and skill to master an instrument foriegn to ones hands before learning to play it. I suppose I'm a bit bias because I play (or try to play) guitar. When comparing Raps skill level to a genre with ACTUAL instuments I just dont find rap respectable.
On the other side though, I do respect the fact that yes, rap is good for dancing....but I'm not sure what else. Mabey if the rappers actually played an instrument while rapping or just had a band to play while they rapped I wouldnt be so irritated at the mindless following they have spawned. If your opinion differs I understand. I know I cant change the culture of our generation. Just I would like you to think the next time you here a rap song "was that really that hard to create?"
