In the past fiew days I have come down with a cold and have found my surroundings to be quite hazardous when trying to keep others well. By hazardous I mean touching things a healthy person may touch later and just trying to be considerate. I try to have the decency to not cough openly onto others or things of that nature. I thought that was just common curtosy, But apparently this is not the case with some people.
My roomate got sick recently too and I'm sorry to be heartless but it was rather annoying to hear him constantly coughing and sniffing. Then when i figured it should be better by now i asked him " have you been taking meds?" he replied "nah, i usually just wait it out". WHAT?! ARE YOU SERIOUS?! I would think one should do anything they can to get better and not get another ill while living with them. It's just rediculous to think hes risking my health just because he has to go out of his way to take meds. Is that self centered to think he should automatically have the mindset to not get his roomate sick?
I'm not entirly sure what I'm trying to say other than have consideration for those around you.

I was sick too! Stomach flu? i think it was going around campus for a while. The flu shot that i got was a waste of money because it did not make me immune to the virus going around and it spread very quickly in the dorms.
